BIG CORD is cotton yarn along with handmade home accessories, fashion accessories, created by two of us – sisters Zuzana and Petra.
In our small family”factory” we make together exceptional skeins of BIG CORD. They are ideal for your home crochet, knitting, sewing and macramé projects such as baskets, bags, decorations, poufs, cushions but also jewellery, toys and fashion accessories.
The story of BIG CORD skeins began in 2021, when together we found all the perfect inputs
for the cords to come to you. We are full of enthusiasm and ideas and we try to transform them into production. Not only in the form of the skeins themselves, but also into products made from them. We are testing, crocheting, macraming, sewing to bring you new and new inspirations.
It is still the beginning. We are learning progressively, but from the very beginning we are doing everything we can, to be one of the trusted and conscious manufacturers who specialize in cotton goods, while maintaining the highest quality. That’s why we work with suppliers, who meet the exacting requirements for our company’s ecological principles.
We think green, produce responsibly and report truthfully. Our threads are created through recycling and upcycling. It is a beautiful example of a circular economy that giving new life to fibres and creating new yarns from textile production waste.
